We are aiming to give a realistic view on places we have visited and to hopefully provide some helpful tips for those wanting to explore places we have also visited.

We are not doing this for any profit and we are not associated with anyone in the travel industry nor any official, or for profit, organisations in the countries we have visited.

We have no other intention than to try and provide some helpful information for anyone wishing to explore places as independent travellers.

But who are ‘we’.  In the main, Candy Horsbrugh and Iain Wood, aged 55 and 64 respectively.  However, we have also included comments by other people we have travelled with or met along the way where we feel this would give a broader view or add information we think could be helpful.

We apologise if anyone feels our comments do not reflect the realities of places we are discussing.  We are trying to present how we have observed things from our view point – and we admit that our view point will be coloured and prejudiced by our backgrounds and experiences in life.  We would be very interested to receive any updates or corrections that people feel would improve the information that we are presenting or to extend the scope of details we have provided.
